5:46 PM - Weather spotters have confirmed this tornado. 

Here's how it looks on radar at 5:47 PM CDT. Anywhere in the polygon, stay sheltered until you're sure the storms are past you. This is one nasty, persistent storm system. 

5:51 PM - Ryan Hall is covering this. 

5:58 - They are extended this and another Tornado Warning farther to the North. Tennessee just can't catch a break the past day or two. 

6 PM - And at long last, here's an update on the velocity signatures, which are not terribly strong but are clearly there. Tried to post these with the reflectivity graphic earlier.

* Tornado Warning for...

  Southwestern Lewis County in Middle Tennessee...

  Central Wayne County in Middle Tennessee...

  Northwestern Lawrence County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 526 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Collinwood, or 10 miles southwest of Waynesboro,

  moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Collinwood around 530 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Lutts.
