This list is not complete, but I grabbed as much as I felt able on the fly without it getting too repetitive or redundant. I also saw where a school or maybe pre-school in Dothan got hit by what was probably a tornado. Some kids were injured. At this stage of things, my only comment is that I'm glad they are alive; that's a scenario you never like to hear about, tornado hitting a school with people in it. That report isn't in this list because Dothan is covered by either the Mobile or Tallahassee office, not Birmingham, where I collected so many reports. They may not have completed the survey yet.
I just checked and don't see anything for a survey. They'll probably do that tomorrow when the weather is nice, or at least start the process. A lot of offices are short-staffed right now, so please remember if you get impatient for storm surveys that they are having to work extra hard to get them done. And storm surveys are not easy to do. They take a lot out of a person. Along with the physically demanding scientific side, forecasters have to go and talk to the people who survived the storm, but may have lost a home; sometimes they know someone who did not survive. And it's just a lot. Even with a full staff, it is a demanding task.
Major respect to the people who work for NWS Nashville for getting this much done before they probably even had time for much sleep and a reset with the really nice weather tomorrow. Our local offices around here really are great.

NWS Survey teams confirmed a tornado touchdown in western Maury
County, just northeast of Hampshire near US Hwy 412. Here, timber
damage occurred, as well as damage to at least one barn, on Old
State Rd and Roy Thompson Rd. The tornado crossed into an
inaccessible wooded thereafter, then emerged onto Rippey Lake Rd
causing additional damage to trees. The tornado then caused
significant damage to a home, removing almost the entire roof
section and collapsing most walls. This is where the EF2 rating
was achieved with estimated winds of 120 mph. The tornado
weakened as it moved southeast, causing additional timber damage
on South Bridges Rd, then dissipated on Ashwood Rd.

damage as it crossed Campbellsville Pike, then dissipated shortly
after crossing US Hwy 31.
