Here is the link to all the reports for that day from the SPC. It was eight tornadoes total from what looked like a lower-end threat even for Kentucky that evening/night. But Tennessee and Kentucky both got tornadoes as well as wind damage.
And please notice that in the deadly tornado that hit Deer Lodge, which was rated E/F-2, two people died, two other people were injured. It's been a while since we've seen tornado deaths around here or heard of much serious injury from storms. And if you'll read the damage survey, you'll notice that this tornado completely destroyed a couple of mobile homes besides destroying some outbuildings. That's why storm spotters like me and meteorologists everywhere always tell you: You can't afford to stay in a mobile home when a tornado is coming. Getting out of there can be a matter of life and death. And it was the other night; two people lost their lives.
This is a little North of the area I usually post storm reports for, but since there were two deaths, two serious injuries, appears all of that happened in mobile homes, I thought it was worth posting this time.
