LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be

  possible.


* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following areas,

  Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Greene, Lee AR, Mississippi,

  Phillips, Poinsett and St. Francis, North Mississippi, including

  the following areas, Alcorn, Benton MS, Calhoun, Chickasaw,

  Coahoma, DeSoto, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee MS, Marshall, Monroe,

  Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah,

  Tishomingo, Tunica, Union and Yalobusha, Southeast Missouri,

  including the following areas, Dunklin and Pemiscot, and West

  Tennessee, including the following areas, Benton TN, Carroll,

  Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman,

  - Widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 5 inches are expected

    across much of the Mid-South. Some areas of northwest

    Tennessee could see between 6 and 8 inches of rain.

  Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall,

  Maury, Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,

  Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren,

  Wayne, White, Williamson and Wilson.


* WHEN...From midnight CST tonight through Sunday morning.


* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

MORNING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be

  possible.


* WHERE...Portions of east Tennessee, including the following areas,

  Bledsoe, Campbell, Claiborne, Hancock, Marion, Morgan, Scott TN

  and Sequatchie and southwest Virginia, including the following

  areas, Lee and Wise.


* WHEN...From late tonight through Sunday morning.


* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.


* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - Many places have already seen 2 to 3 inches of rainfall this

    week with locally higher totals of around 4 inches in some

    spots. Multiple rounds of rainfall are expected from early

    Saturday morning through Saturday night with heavy rainfall

    rates possible in thunderstorms Saturday night. Additional

    rainfall in excess of 2 inches is expected in and near the

    watch area through Sunday morning.
