.Several areas across the Mid-South have received over 4 inches of

rainfall over the past 7 days, with multiple areas reporting

flooding of streams and roadways. Additional rounds of heavy

rainfall are anticipated now through Monday morning, with a

potential lull in activity on Saturday. Heavy rains will further

aggravate rivers and streams, causing rises to and above bankfull.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be

  possible.


* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following areas,

  Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Greene, Mississippi, Poinsett

  and St. Francis, Southeast Missouri, including the following

  areas, Dunklin and Pemiscot, and West Tennessee, including the

  following areas, Benton TN, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur,

  Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson,

  Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton

  and Weakley.


* WHEN...Through Monday morning.


* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur

  in poor drainage and urban areas.
