Tornado Warning

727

Okay as of 9:58 PM we also have a tornado warning, same storm, for Franklin County until 10:30 PM.

And that possible tornado moving into Madison County is headed for the city of Huntsville. Especially southern parts of Huntsville like Brownsboro I would stay sheltered until this has passed. Motion at the moment still is to the East.

10:02 PM - Here you can see the polygons.

Phil Campbell is also in the path.

Huntsville storm appears to be going through a weakening phase, but I would stay sheltered, because supercell storms can cycle down and back up very quickly.

And by the way, this tornado, the one near Hackleburg, Phil Campbell, and Bear Creek, has now been confirmed by radar. Any tornado is dangerous, please get to shelter before it gets to you.

10:08 - As of about ten minutes ago the possible tornado was located near the Huntsville Airport and near the town of Madison. Anywhere in that polygon, stay sheltered. This one has not been confirmed, but at night and this environment, better to be safe than sorry, stay sheltered - small central room on lowest floor of a sturdy house, not in a mobile home.
