So this latest warning that includes Huntsville is in the squall line but is coming out of the same storm that produced that tornado earlier, so gotta' take it seriously.
Also just got a severe thunderstorm warning for Cullman, Morgan, and Marshall Counties. Also an extension of that TN warning toward Winchester.
12:29 Am _- was offline a few minutes, playing catchup now.
12:47 - The possible tornado should be passing near Marshall Space Center around now. The rotation is looking broad, but still a good idea to respect the history of this storm.
12:49 - Well the text of the warning said that, but looks like it is headed more toward Owens Cross Roads and New Hope communities now, the rotation on radar. Still anywhere in that polygon, please respect the warning and be sheltered. It has been kind of a rough night.
The graphics are glitching some again but this storm is in a weakening phase. Since there are also warnings for regular damaging winds in effect for this same area, I would stay sheltered. Respect all severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings tonight, and if it weakens, then you can breathe a sigh of relief. These things can cycle up and down sometimes.

12:53 - Update from NWS Huntsville above.
12:55 - And a radar update. Focusing on the possible tornado because of the kind of night it has been.
Well nevermind, they just cancelled the tornado warning.
So that's good.
Will start another post to try to catch up with the squall line of severe thunderstorms in general. Glad we have no tornado warnings anymore for the moment.
