Will put updates on the squall line here and only create a new post if another storm looks extra concerning. The tornado that came from Mississippi weakened and has been absorbed into the squall line. A tornado could still spin up again. And these thunderstorm winds of 60-70 miles per hour or greater are still dangerous. It would be wise to shelter from them, away from windows in a sturdy house, preferably on the lower floor and toward the center of the house.
But I am glad that tornado finally dissipated. It was a bad one.
Still along this squall line, damage has happened in Florence earlier. It's hard to know if that was from a tornado or from straight-line damaging winds in these thunderstorms.
So please still play it kind of safe, and be aware that another tornado could still spin up somewhere.
11:55 PM - SPC confirms that we do still have a tornado risk, but the damaging wind threat may be becoming the more dominant thing within this squall line.
